Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I have heard that every time a star falls a witch dies, and that when a bell rings an angel gets his wings....but have never heard about the cut hair/angel dies doctrine....sounds loony.

I dont believe the UPC would be so foolish as to teach that. Maybe a rogue member but surely no one ordained by them would be that far off or members that would accept it.

One would like to think that, however, there are those that have bought into the "power" in uncut hair doctrine. What's different - it's not scriptural either.

No, but at least it's verifiable. Can't tell whether an angel really dies or not, but you can tell if, say, someone is healed or not!

I have never heard that we humans could do anything that would cause an angel to die.
