Man...this is nuts....can you fella's not read?????????
Some one give the boy hand he has learned to read, now maybe some one can teach him how to understand what the words are saying when put all together in a paragraph not just the sentance.

Isa 3:16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

The sin for which God will punish them for. Above. Below is the punishment God puts on them, Talk about not being able to read.

Isa 3:17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
Isa 3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
Isa 3:19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
Isa 3:20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
Isa 3:21 The rings, and nose jewels,
Isa 3:22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
Isa 3:23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
Isa 3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

All this is saying is God is going ot take away the blessing he has given them because of thier sin. Thier prideful attitude.

You mean such as "not with gold jewelry, pearls, or costly apparell"? Yep, read just fine! MOving right along.....

Isa 3:16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

Boy-Howdy, did you drop the ball on this one. Funny how you automatically go to the vagueness of the KJV here. "Read" the NIV translation of this particular verse, for ex., for greater clarity & watch how silly you look in the end [unbeknownst to you, as usual].

Isa 3:17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

So, God "blessed" them w/ a "stomacher" & "well set hair"????????? You guys just never can see how ridiculous you sound. Amazing the lengths & theological leap-frogs people will go to in order to render the Word of God of no effect! Why not make it easy on your self & simply believe the NT instructions: "not with gold jewelry, pearls, or costly apparell."???? Talk about "reading"!?!?!?!?

Honestly with all the Good points you make, they are clouded with names and adjectives derogatory to who you are talking to. Please stop making conservative apostolics look like we cannot have a conversation without slander. Even if they slander you, Vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

I see, according to your logic, we should just allow them to ridicule, slander, etc. Yet, when I put the ball back in their court...I'M somehow the bad guy???? My reason for being so abrasive w/ the liberal crowd is that they can dish it out, but can't take it. Besides, you probably would've "corrected" Jesus also in Jn. chp. 8 when He told them that their father was the devil!! No, I won't expound on Him resorting to actual violence in the temple. Paul w/stood Peter "to the face," & no one told him he had a "bad spirit." You're a victim of the western paradigm of Christianity.

Seems to me like you need to go reread your Bible before you start "correcting" me...........

Honestly are you Jesus? Try reading where James and John wanted to call fire from heaven and devour them. Jesus rebuked them.

Just because Jesus did it, doesn't give you or me or anyone else the right to do it in a bad spirit. Now with a good spirit you can keep going because outside of the slandering, I'm enjoying your rebuttals.

You're equivocating John & James wanting to murder folks w/ me responding in firm tones. Honestly, do you believe that is a fair comparison? We are not Peter either, so should we quit preaching Acts 2:38 salvation since we're not the apostle who initially stated this command? Jesus is our Example...is He not? Think about this, one reason that we teach water baptism so strongly is because it's the 1st thing He did before launching out into His ministry/outreach. Certainly we're no better than He....same principle above.

Just because Jesus did it, doesn't give you or me or anyone else the right to do it in a bad spirit. Now with a good spirit you can keep going because outside of the slandering, I'm enjoying your rebuttals.
Well, I appreciate the gracious statement here...sincerely. I just cannot deal w/ those who "make the Word of God on no effect." Jesus saved His most fiery rebukes for those type, because they lead many down the path of destruction w/ their slight of hand. I cannot stand false doctrine of any kind, because of the eternal damage that it does. Jesus Himself said He "hated the doctrine of the Nicolatians," who taught that externals were "legalisms"....sound familiar?? Blessings anyway.

Its one thing to rebuke in person and another to rebuke on a forum where no one sees you or the annointing in which you may bring unless God himself convicts them. its a big difference

If you think you are right, do you believe that jewelry users are going to hell?
If you think they are hell-bound, why don't you pray for them that God will show them the right way?

God will be the Judge in eternity...not me. But, Rev. teaches us that we'll be judged by the "bib-los" [Bible]....including I Tim. 2 & I Ptr. 3. Eternity is God's business, not mine. I do believe that we'll ALL need the Mercies of God on that day, but that doesn't mean that I'm not to teach what the Scriptures clearly say. Besides, most of the messages that I preach are encouraging in nature, though there are certainly times to be firm....depending on people's spirit.

Why do you assume your points, then launch an attack from them? I doooo pray for them! But, as Abraham told the rich man in hell, "they have Moses and the prophets [i.e., Word of God]......".
