I think race was huge for this trial, If the victems were not white I have doubts he would have got off. As you pointed out for years the system as been against blacks this one time it was reverse. I think some had the we got a chance tio stick to them this time mentality due to all the past injustices.

I think stats will show that if you are black and you perpetrate a crime against someone who is black then your chances of getting convicted or getting the maximum sentence is less that if you are black and your victim is white.


If OJ was white and the victims were white, then Furhman's racist actions and thoughts would never be discussed. More than likely, he would never have perjured himself and would have never had to plea the 5th about planting evidence because the trial would have gone in a different direction.

I don't think any person was glad that OJ allegedly got away with murder.

I bet, if you think about it most folks you know who were glad, did not think OJ was physically guilty of those murders in the first place.

I bet they thought it was an elaborate or not so elaborate scheme to look like he was the only one who could have done this because he is black and his victims were white.

I am not going out on a limb in stating that no one was glad that OJ got away with killing anyone.


Think about the amount of hate you would be ascribing to the people who would think like that. If they were really that hateful, then they themselves would probably be involved in other hateful activities.

Still, only you know the people you are referring to. You know them better than I do.
