Criminal cases are guilty not guilty innocent verdicts. This is a civil case and he will lose.
Mr Long is going to settle. It will take a lot of tithing to cover this.

As usual, over and over with you, it doesn't matter how many times I explain, explain again, and then 'splain in yet another way; you are going to say that I said or meant something other that what I did. It's a waste of my time.

It was a masterpiece...but not the kind of masterpiece I'd be proud of. He did exactly what he wanted to do. Let me state again that I honestly and really hope that he is innocent and I hope that I am dead wrong, but based upon all the others who have gone before him with these types of allegations, it appears that these are legitimate accusations. I will be happy if I'm wrong and anyone who believes he's innocent can tell me "I told you so!"

Yes, I am aware that I am a waste of your time, but I'd just like to see what you have to say to the points others have made...but you're only answering me.

It was a masterpiece...but not the kind of masterpiece I'd be proud of.

Only if you're looking at him through a filter of assumed guilt. Funny....if this ends up being a "Duke LaCrosse" scenario...AND THAT STUFF HAPPENS, FOLKS!!!....then maybe it would be a masterpiece you'd be proud of. It was only a bad speech if you're assuming he's guilty. And sadly, most people are.

He did exactly what he wanted to do. Let me state again that I honestly and really hope that he is innocent and I hope that I am dead wrong, but based upon all the others who have gone before him with these types of allegations, it appears that these are legitimate accusations.

But really??....there's no appearance of anything yet, is there? Just people accusing things. I coached a softball team once and was accused of overcharging the players and stealing the extra player fees. It was a church team. Every other team players talked to had paid half the individual fees our players did. And they assumed...just like people are doing here, that it "Appeared the accusations were legitimate." But the other teams had sponsors who had paid half the city fees and our church hadn't chipped in sponsor fees. I produced the bill, compared it with the fees paid, and it matched. Here's a shocking news bulletin for you....In America, people occasionally DO MAKE FALSE ACCUSATIONS. Amazing, isn't it? Side note....the guy that made the original accusations? He knew the truth all along and was upset that I had benched him. But hey, what the heck, "IT APPEARED HIS ACCUSATIONS WERE LEGITIMATE."

I will be happy if I'm wrong and anyone who believes he's innocent can tell me "I told you so!"

There's no way I would say, "I told you so." What would be the point? You've stuck your neck out there already. I'm not. I'm waiting to see what happens and I'll believe in him until proven otherwise. That's the same way I'd treat you if you were accused of something. Love believes all things and hopes all things. I'm believing him and hoping for him. It's the natural response of love.

You don't believe the victims. No love in their direction?

I normally don't respond to you gibberish but since MOW gave validity to your post, I'll answer.

First, you don't know that they're "Victims." Second, they're making accusations that would GREATLY alter the composition of many lives, thousands of lives. Tens of thousands, actually. If something is said that would make a catastrophic upheaval in that many lives, I'm going to wait and see. I don't believe them or disbelieve them. But the principle I'm operating on is one of our basic American rights that you would request if you were accused, that we are all innocent until we're proven otherwise.

I do think we need to be careful making quick judgements on things like this. like I told someone at work I don't think he's guilty nor innocent, I don't know.
