Tiger Woods' Statement
Anyone see this? Anyone care what he had to say? If so, your opinions?

How someone could claim to live in the lifestyle of the grace of Jesus Christ, and make a statement like this, is unfathomable to me. You are making a blanket accusation without one single ounce of any meaningful evidence to back it up. Typical Christian cynicism. Sad. I sure hope you never do anything wrong.
Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.

Evidently, you have one heck of a gift of discerning of spirits, for you were able to know for a certainty that Tiger was only sorry that he was caught. How anyone that claims to live in the lifestyle of the grace of Jesus Christ, and automatically assume the worst in someone, is bountifully sad.

We don't know for a fact that TW is only sorry because he was caught. In fact, sometimes people who are in a tangle of sin are relieved to be caught!
Regardless, he's been in seclusion for 3 months, he gave a very somber apology, and only time will tell the truth about his motives. Did he act terrible? YES!!! If his wife takes him back, she deserves sainthood. Does that mean he deserves to be kicked in the ribs for years to come? No. And even if he did, he doesn't deserve it from us. He didn't do anything to you or me, Ron; he hurt his family. They're the ones he really needs to be concerned with.

Completely well said. How beautiful it would be if all those the Follow Christ would believe the best in others, first.
That being said, I believe there's meaningful evidence to suggest that Tiger is being completely real. If he weren't, he could've told Elin to cash in her prenup and take a hike, and head right back to the course where he would continue to dominate. Eventually, he would win enough and people would forget. But he didn't take that route. He has taken a very difficult route.
And I believe him.
