Maybe I am just getting older but does anybody else besides me feel privacy and freedom going out the window?
Not good enough, Passwords and SmartCards are not the future.
The future is personal recognition, the building knows who you are and opens the door for you, the car opens when you approach it, the telephone or computer knows who you are, no need for passwords of SmartCards which can be forgotten or lost.

Or maybe just a tiny microchip that your car recognizes your work recognizes and works as a debit credit card.

If only they could, like, embed it under your skin, or something....

The following are already available or in trial testing.
Fingerprint recognition
Facial recognition
Voice recognition
eye retina recognition
saliva recognition
even Body recognition
(everyone has a different body, and everyone moves, and walks differently, a computer body scanner can recognize those difference) Airports are already using a primitive version of the body scanners.

i watched the vid... it was pretty rough on the language. sorry.
I work for one of the biggest communications companies in the world. Our CEO has publically stated...repeatedly for the last several years:
Everyone carries 3 things with them at all times. Their keys, their wallet, and their cell phone. I want to get rid of two of those.
And yea, passwords are useless. new technology will go toward biometrics. that by itself removes any anonimity from the individual.
Yes, sorry about the language, I agree and should have mentioned it. However, I thought it was worth sharing because of the content about smart cards and the like.
Why is your CEO saying that? All this tracking seems so oppressive to me. I do not understand the go with the flow thoughts of many people. Even after this Snowden thing....people said "Wow, that's wrong!" but are they doing anything different?
