I think they are just reporting that there are people that do believe the end is near and all this is leading to it.

Well, I'd hope so, but I think the question is if this is true - why isn't whatever they are using/spraying affecting humans too?

Conspiracy theorists have long claimed chemtrails. Do a web search.
If there is something affecting birds, it may come out as cancer or allergies in humans, I suppose.
