DKB is a good guy - as I've said many times before. I have a few obvious disagreements with him, and most of that really boils down to how things ought to be articulated. But DKB is alright, as far as I'm concerned. He has a tough job. I don't envy him being in that position.

Plus, I think it's great that he has brought up some of the things for discussion that he has. Just read the last chapter of his book "Apostolic Life." Heh. He got away with a bombshell there, IMHO.

I'm looking at an electronic version of the book - unless the sections and chapters are done differently there is no bombshell there.

This is just my opinion, but I think the UPCI's "Apostolic Identity" campaign is just a few doors down from being a full blown American based Christian "cult"!

What is basically being preached and taught is that the American culture that was present when the UPC was started in 1945 was PERFECT! Sixty-six years later, they must pretend and dress like they still live in that perfect 40's-50's culture. Most are good people that have simply given in to loud and assertive proponents.
