That's not what he said at all.
NFS has found a place to be open and honest and I've found his posts refreshing -- in fact I identify with many of them.
To say the Bible gives us all the answers is just nonsense.
The Disciples preached Jesus as Messiah, the Son of God. They didn't hold godhead debates. They spent their time and effort proclaiming the Gospel.
If it were all so clear, we'd have a letter with a systematic explanation of exactly how this Jesus and God relationship works. We don't have that. You don't have that. When you say it's "plain" you sound ignorant. Centuries and centuries, men brighter than you or I, men filled with God's Spirit... they couldn't agree on what this looks like exactly.
Then along comes MTD to tell us all exactly what those ancient words mean --- and the words that were never written.
