Pel - not to slam JG, but I really think the TV thing is more of a generational issue with preachers. Some have preached so long and hard against the evils of TV, that it has become part of their core belief.
It is hard for them to see that technology has made this argument almost null and void.
Now, I do not have a TV and probably never will.
However, the UPC concentrated so long on TV being the bad guy, that it forgot the real issue that it was preaching against.
Note - I do use UPC in the "general" sense here, as there were always those who focused on the real issue, which is the heart.
