I seriously doubt any portion of this statement.

Because we don't want to lose conservative posters. We want the dialogue and the challenge. If we report it, and something is done about it they will take their toys and go home.
Respectfully, I doubt this statement too.

If you found damaging comments, why does no one report the posts?
Respectfully, I tried this once...never again. Don't mean any harm here, but it's just a fact that one person's damaging post is another's innocent (in their mind) remark.

It's all about perception...BOOMM...

But it doesn't surprise me one bit but what there are some here who would definitely seriously consider some who post on this forum as reprobate .... considering their definition of the terms "saved" and "backslid" and what it takes to be both.

Don't they have a right to their opinion as do the rest of posters who are registered here do?

It doesn't bother me a bit if someone else labels me heretic or reprobate. I've been called both before. It rolls off me like water off a duck's back.

Amen, Felicity, Amen.

Exactly right Barb.

Words are clothed with meaning and emotion. We should be careful how we chose and construct them in our written speech that they will not stir negative emotions.

I was once told of a woman in Paris who telegraphed her millionaire husband in New York that she had found a diamond priced at $50,000 that she would like to buy with his permission. It was a very high price in the late 1800s.

The husband wire gave the telegraph operator these words to transmit, "No. Price to great." However, the operator left out an important punctuation mark. When the woman received the wire, it read, "No price to great."

She bought the diamond. Think of it...the lack of a period cost the man $50,000.

Someone said I blasphemed the Holy Ghost I didn't commit suicide. Someone else said I had no love and was a bigot I did not lay awake crying. I have been called a hypocrite I didn't start smoking. This is ONLY a forum there is life outsdie the forum that is real with folks with REAL names believe it or not.
I have been called mean, ugly, vicious, a hindrance to the truth yet folks in town love and respect me even those Trinitarian pastors respect me and the saints I pastor. So when you are in tune to reality why get so worked up over what someone says who might not even be who they say they are???
Mr. Clunky says so and so but who and what is Mr. Clunky and who cares?
No one on here supports me, believe it or not there was not one envelope in the box with Mr. Clunky's name on it last night. However I do believe Mr. Clunky is stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like to read and post here and I am conservative.I just know that on forums there are all kinds of people who post.I treat it like a large church with many members who are diverse in their thinking. You would not go into a large assembly and start arguments.I don't like to be around people who all have the same opinions.I do however believe the bible teaches certain things regarding doctrine including holiness issues.I have deep convictions regarding many things. That does not however give me the right to put out a smoldering reed or someone who is not as indepth biblically or maybe who has been hurt greatly. We are to be a city set on a hill.A light to the world. That city holds a standard but not a handful of rocks. That is the best way I know to put it.
People will be saved one at a time.I don't believe that Jesus is going to go for the majority opinion nor the sectarianistic spirit so with that in mind I want
to continue on in the doctrine of Jesus Christ and having a spirit of love for the brethren regardless of their shortcomings.I also know that I am not
superior to anyone.Jesus knows everything and I know only what He has
revealed to me.I am ever seeking to know Him better.

I would THANK several posters here personally for their reading comprehension and their attempt at trying to explain to those less fortunate my original post that was posted in jest, but by my merely mentioning their names their character might be questioned also and then they might be judged as unloving and reprobate haters.

You know who you are.

Thanks.

It seems that some lie in wait for ME to post something/anything so they can draw attention to it.

Others post audacious stuff and it whistles right passed them.

Not a word said.

I think it's personal and that gives me pause.

I really do think that their are some that would get a warm fuzzy feeling if I was banned.
