And yes, many people's lives are turned upside down by a man behind a pulpit. You couldn't be more right. And I suppose it's not the pastor's fault. It's those who believed he was the "Man O God," the Moses for all time, and any dissent, disobedience and disagreement would take you straight to the hot place -- or at least "plant a seed of rebellion" which would cause you to "backslide." But yeah... just those obedient people's fault. Especially when they grew up in this since they were a child. No frontal lobes, no ability to adequately reason things through. But yeah... it's their fault.  |
