Selah

The Law of Sowing and Reaping is undeniable, unchangeable and sure. This is both a comfort and a terror.

What is sown is not necessarily what is reaped. Perishable bodies are sown and Imperishable bodies are reaped. (1 Corinthians 15:42)

Here's a good biblical apologetics, truth-inquiry:

What is the difference between Karma and "reaping and sowing?"

And how does the "God works all things together for those who are called" work into that -- when it sounds like God works his will even through our mistakes.

Re: Selah

Also, see Jesus' parable of the sower. Only what is sown on good ground can ever yield the fruit it is intended to yield. The other seeds just don't produce anything.

Sowing and Reaping is a general principle. However, it is not a principle without exceptions.

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

That verse establishes a general principle. That principle is not without exceptions.

Ha - I know. Saying since "god is not mocked" is the contigence on this, sewing and reaping seem to be HOW God is not mocked. Yes?
