Lots of money was spent to fix the Y2K problem...thank God for knowledge...however the Bible does talk about knowledge increasing...so we should not become relaxed no matter how we believe.
With Corrie Ten Boom I too believe the church will go through tribulation but many of our people do not...it is not something I try to scare our people about...my son believes we are fixing to get out by way of rapture...
I probably will get out but it will be by the way of the grave...ha....
We should not fuss and make enemies and act like we know all the answers...lol...we ALL see through a glass darkly...
I personally have never made any enemies over something that ONLY GOD really knows...I think it is fine to have our opinions, our feelings, our thoughts but when it comes to calling people names we had better be careful for we will be judged according to how we judge...I once preached a sermon called...The unmerciful looking for mercy...
On forums it is so easy to make enemies and I have even made a few mostly by not knowing how to express myself...
Just yesterday we had communion and I had prepared a slide show about the sufferings of our Lord...I wept during the pictures...(my soft heart I guess) anyway HE paid such a price to bring us salvation and freedom...grace and love...
I am grateful for mercy in an age when mercy is often forgotten.

Sister Alvear I have friends who still are the proud owners of huge amounts of dried beans.
I remember overhearing their conversations on the Y2K thing. They relied a huge amount on their current pastors dreams and prophesies. It was a sad thing. We could use though to save extra groceries however for a depression. Economists say it takes about four months to come out of one and actually give advice on how much to store even down to water. Thankfully we have a well.
It is mind boggling though that when you question their theology they get all in a pinch. I found it strange that someone would put a pastors dreams above the Bible. Many do it though.
That's what I was thinking! Funny. But it crossed the line IMO.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
I strongly suspect the victim was in on it, and it was just an act. If not, yeah, it's about the meanest trick possible.
I got that vibe, too. (Also, the cameras didn't seem like the inconspicuous type.)
But yes--very mean if she wasn't in on it.
