Eucaryotes and Antibiotics

Okay, people, I have been puzzling over this for a while and I just can't seem to find the answer. The question is What characteristics would an antibiotic need to be effective against eucaryotes? The question is NOT Why are antibiotics not effective against eucaryotes? I understand that the ribosomes of eucaryotes and procaryotes are different and that antibiotics target the ribosomes of procayotes and don't affect the ribosomes of eucaryotes. Right? Apparently the antibiotics affect the protein synthesis of the procaryote. But I can't figure out what an antibiotic would need in order to be effective against a eucaryote? Does it have anything to do with size or subunits? Anyone?

Sheesh, too bad. I've spent a long time on this one question.
