The last few years I pastored, I noticed a trend where new folks believed the church should change in order to cater to their needs. Also, it was fine to preach against sin, as long as I kept it very generic.
Adultery is still wrong. Fornication is still wrong. Lying, stealing, cheating and coveting are still wrong.
However, this generation does not want to hear the truth.
As I said earlier, nobody's a sinner nowadays.

I think the legalists of the world are having a hard time keeping their control over people. I will add that licentiousness is going to be the over-correction, but that grace-centered, spirit-led sanctification is ultimately the answer. We have to learn to be comfortable with what we view as a mess, but is really just something other than mass uniformity.
