Found this living room in the April issue of Traditional Home magazine (loving this issue!). The apples on the little table are a nice yellow, as is the yellow in the upholstery. Hmmm, the ad in the magazine doesn't have that yellow area rug in it nor is the yellow as bright in the upholstery. LOL!
Saw this awesome website that I wasn't familiar with in my April edition of Traditional Home. Browsed it a bit, very cool.

This yellow is more along the lines of what I have in mind. The bright canary yellow would send Jeff into complete and utter rebellion!
I really like that chair, and apparently gray is the new neutral!

LOL! I didn't know WHAT you were talking about. It looks sort of Scandinavian, but when you zoom in, it doesn't look like paw prints.

Re: Calling Those with a Knack for Decorating...
Behr paint gave me these color suggestions for grey and yellow.
For a soothing color scheme: Porpoise 790E-3 & Rye 310F-4
For a Modern color scheme: Sparrow 780F-4 & Wild Bamboo 350D-4
For a rich color scheme: Elephant Skin UL260-5 & Hammered Gold UL150-2
Haven't checked them out yet. Wanted to post them before I had to log out.
