No one, including Jason Dulle, can give you an answer straight from scripture. It cannot be done because the question isn't about what scripture says but how to understand what scripture says. As such it becomes a matter of opinion, unless you can exhaustively show that every other viewpoint is contradictory.
How can you weigh the evidence when you don't understand the reason for it being in scriptue in the first place? No one understands this no matter how much they might claim to. All they have is their opinions.
