I have another prayer request I hope no gets upset with me over asking for prayer again. This time it is for me. I am in the process of getting ready to have the lap band surgery to help me lose weight. I am in deseperate need of losing weight and this seems to be the only route left for me to go. My familiy doctor told me if I didn't do this that I would only have 3 to 5 years to live. I have a lot of health complications, besides being a heart patient. My husband wants to have me around a while longer than the 5 years that they say I would have to live. I have done all that I have to do to get in for the surgery, I am just waiting on a answer from Medicare, because I other insurance has turned it down, like we thought it would. Please everyone keep me in your prayers and I will let you know what goes on in hopefully in the near future.
[COLOR="Blue[SIZE="5"]"]Just an update on this prayer request, I had my lapband surgery on Thursday, April 14th, everything went well with the surgery. Now, it will be a slow process of losing the weight. I can tell that there is something in there around my stomach because it doesn't take much to fill me up like it did. I am off of work for three weeks due to lifting over 25 lbs at work. I won't be able to return to work until the 5th of May and then to the doctor on the 11th of May for an adjustment. If anybody knows of somebody that has went thru something similar to this, please help me get in touch with them for some support thru this.
