Yeah, all I did was wonder why he was using Yeshua and not Jesus. Suddenly he was on the defense.

In my opinion, it just leads to the thought of people proclaiming that Jesus is not the proper name to be baptized in. That is usually the "Yeshua Crowd" that state that.
My second opinion was that there was not 100% hard proof that Yeshua was the actual name (although Prax brought up some good points), but that we have 100% HARD PROOF that he was called Jesus (English translation of Latin translated from Greek).
It was never to attack him for using that. I think I even posted a long list of names, pronunciation, and translations of what it could be.
Technically, could you not be Baptized in the name of Jehovah, since it is the root meaning of Jesus (Jehovah Saves)?
