Hey friend, You just made me cry. You helped me today more than you will ever know. We are raising (legal guardians) of our Grandson Jordan. His mother is in another state and here we are at 55 raising a child that is 30 months old. He is precious and a lot of work. Sometimes it does not feel like we can do it. We have always went to bed late and slept late. Now it is in bed by 8:30 or 9 and up around 7 just to get him to Child Care by 8:30. I have to take at least a 30 min nap every day to make it. He is still in diapers, he cannot talk to be understood yet and starts speech therapy next week. Tubes in his ears last week, 8 days of hospitals the week before! I cannot travel like I need to and you know what happens when an Evangelist can't travel. Marie simply cannot do it alone.
We are determined to raise him and teach him and love him with all that we have.
I sit here watching him play and his hugs and loves are worth it all.
Thanks for your post today, I really needed it.
