I've been to IHOP, and I couldn't feel the Holy Spirit there at all. That isn't to say that the Spirit couldn't move on them if they sought after him in spirit and in
truth. God just isn't there right now, although I'm sure He's watching.
I do agree with Michael - it is a real shame that there aren't any OP movements like this. And it isn't going to be possible until we shed our Traditions of men and our preconceived notions of what God wants, and search after Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. If you are really searching after Him in that way, those shackles of tradition will fall by the wayside.
And fyi, there isn't going to be a oneness Pentecostal IHOP in your city as long as that big ol' ego is up on your platform running things like he's a king.
I have a feeling that things are changing right now, a deep moving in the spirit world that is part of this upheaval in the UPCI and other organizations. It feels like the beginnings of an avalanche. The real truth seekers are breaking free from traditions on both sides of the spectrum and are searching for God (and this includes people who have left the UPCI
as well as people who have not). God doesn't care about whether or not our UPCI grand-daddy said God wants this, or if our Presbyterian grand-mammy said God wants that; he's going to have a real church and a real harvest.
Good times ahead.
