Yes, He speaks.
Several years ago my single mother daughter had lost her job, she was not saved. I kept asking God to interven and find her a job. I was desperate for her to be able to take care of her little family.
God spoke to me on the way to church in the middle of praying for her. He said, "Stop asking Me for a job and ask Me for Her"!
I still well up with tears when I remember.
God saved her and found her TWO jobs!
I heard His voice just before the recession hit. I was walking from one room to the next when I heard, "God will provide". I wondered why I would hear that, then the economic down turn hit. My husband has lost jobs, I lost mine and yet God was/is true to His promise! He provides!
