If we obey His commandments, we should have the love of God shed abroad

Also if we do not love our brother who we have seen, how can we say we love
GOD who we have not seen. If we do not have the HOLY GHOST, how
can we say we love, really love our brother and sister. IF HIS LOVE is shed
abroad in our hearts by the HOLY GHOST, we should love everybody. Doesn't
mean we agree, but we should love. We are commanded to love our enemies.
We can love as GOD loved, by His Spirit that lives in us.
My late pastor used to teach, "If you can't love your spouse as you should,
love them as an enemy! God commanded us to love our enemies. Sobering,
isn't it!
