Yes, Paul said some of those that should have been teachers, still have need that one should teach them.
And he also called the Galatians foolish.
In Galatians 4:19, "My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Just as a natural child, when properly fed and cared for, should develop into a healthy individual, the inner
man should also be fed, and cared for to become a healthy Christian.
Good Post, Brother!

Re: "In those days there was no king in Israel:
Sis. Falla,
I sure did not have your Dad. My Dad did not know the Lord and considered himself an agnostic most of his adult life. He did mellow some when he got old and near death and mentioned to some of us that he "could" believe some of the stuff in the Bible. The Hospice Chaplain told us that Dad had made his peace with God before he died.
I've seen some of the stuff you've written about your Dad --about him coming home and spending time in the Word and prayer and then coming to the dinner table with eyes red from weeping. I've read about his witnessing and establishing a church and how your whole family has come to know the Lord through his (and your mother and grandmother) influence. I may not agree with every detail that he believed but you have sure presented him as a man of God and someone we would all be better off knowing. Be sure and think about that in a couple of weeks on Father's Day and thank God for him.

Thank you, Bro. Sam, for your kind words. I won't wait until Father's Day to thank God for my dear father AND mother. I do that most days. I saw the price and the sacrifice they paid for we eleven siblings to have better lives. I don't take it lightly and realize to whom is much given shall much be required. Make a special effort to make sure those that I come in contact on a daily basis, know about the LORD!
My heart goes out to those who did not have godly parents. I had nothing to do with it. My dear grandmother prayed when she was yet a Bible reading, praying Methodist, "LORD, if the child I am carrying is a son, will you make him a minister of the GOSPEL! At that time she did not know full salvation, but was diligently walking in all of the truth she knew. HE showed her more and she walked in it. Grandma Lizzie told Dad what she had prayed, after he opened the doors of the little mission he began in 1958. He said, "Mother, why didn't you tell me that before now. He was 40 yrs old. Grandma told him, "Son, I wanted you to know that it was GOD who called you and not me". What a WISE mother. I believe she knew he had the call of GOD on his life, long before he opened the mission, and also before she told him what she had prayed.
Blessings,
Falla39

Thank you, Sam, as you may know you are referring to my Dad.
Dad was an very honorable man, I lived with him for twenty years, and he lived what he believed. I never detected even a trace of hypocrisy in him. And on this week before Father's Day, I am grateful for the privilege of being his son, I deeply appreicate the foundation he gave me for relationship with God, and for life. I know this Sunday, Dad you will be having a wonderful day!!! I love you and still miss you.

No, I did not know that. I've seen some of the stuff Falla has written about him. I had no idea he was the father of anyone else on this forum. He must have been quite a man. You have been very privileged to have had him for a father.
