The 80's... I loved the 80's..
What a fun decade.. lots of events took place in the 80's.
I was a teen in most of the 80's.. spent time driving all over to conferences, camps, rally's... good thing I drove a small car.
I had a 1981 Jetta VW like this one only it was a gold champaign color.. I hated the color as a 16 year old in 1983.... now I look back and think how ungrateful I was. whining about colors... *sigh* It had a sunroof and was a diesel... got excellent gas mileage (practical side of me coming out since I am now 40..lol )
I had big hair... including the poofy stuff in front... although I refused to wear a mohawk type poof that so many of the girls wore.

Had an awesome time being a teenager, graduated from High School in 1985.. never went on to college though (big regret)... worked in politics.. loved every min of it.
Then I got Married in Feb 1989...

Then 3 months later got pregnant with my beautiful daugher Elaine... who now loves all the 80's stuff.. and thinks it is just the coolest.
The 80's... what great memories I had of good years of my life.
