My Horrible Day - Conclusion
In my best King James English:
Yea, my tears runneth down my cheeks in anguish and my tears shed tears of their own.
I went to picketh up my car from the repair shop, and the total amount was rendered unto me.
Yea, as mine eyes gazed upon the total amount, the food I consumed earlier almost escaped my bowels (selah).
My feet had nigh slipped from under me had I not held onto the counter.
The amount was $200 higher than estimated.
After I saw the bill, I could not hold my tongue.
In the anguish of my spirit I spoke.
I complained in the bitterness of my soul.
I shall not pay an additional $200.00, and it was granted unto me.
In my mind I said, Lord, turn your gaze that I may take comfort a little.
Before I go whence I shall not return.
To a land of murk and gloom.
A land of deepest night.
Full of chaos and the shadow of death.
Where the light is as darkness.
I then snapped out of it, pulled out my American Express and paid a $1,400 bill.

They that have an ear, let them hear what saith I unto thee.
Don't use the a/c unless ye really have to.
Overuse of a/c can bring thee much sorrow.
Let them that have ear, let them heareth what saith I.

When the power goeth out in my air conditioned house, I sit in my air conditioned car til it cometh back on.

Re: My Horrible Day - Conclusion
I feel your pain. I just spent $1000 to get my plumbing system flushed and replace the water softener after my water softener's resin broke loose and contaminated my plumbing. May sound like a luxury but our water is so hard if you don't have one you end up with $$$$ in plumbing bills as calcium and other minerals build up in the pipes and faucets.
Definitely not in my budget.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: My Horrible Day - Conclusion
Mine people wandered in the wilderness for yea many years and the sun beat wickedly upon them yet the cry did not arise for air conditioning.
The camel nor the ass is air conditioned and they that sit upon them have wet undergarments that are evil to look upon, yet they humbly accept their lot in life.
I'm not sure what the point of my post is.

They didn't cry for it since they never experienced it.
I can even guarantee that had they seen HD television they would be screaming for that if they were forced to wander and only had access to standard def. It's all relative.
