It's all fun and games, until a little kid gets the idea that it would be cool to go planking on a busy highway.

It's just another sign of the bad economy. No jobs, so people have to much time on their hands.

The fact that people have died doing this, to me tells them that God isn't exactly please.

Naw, I doubt God mindS much about it.

People die doing all manner of sports, and taking risks of all kinds.

It's not a sport. Sports come with leagues, money, and insurance.

You can't compare organized sports to trying to lay down on things in the most odd and dangerous way possible to get "cool points" with your internet friends.

In these particular cases. People put themselves in bad situations, and they died as a result.

That usually has to do with the ignorance of individuals; not the activity in general. I know of a 17 year old boy who drowned swimming in a ditch with his brother because he got hung up on some debris--that doesn't mean that "God isn't exactly pleased" with swimming.

My only objection to "owling" is that it looks like people are squatting down for a different reason.
