The Bible makes no such distinction.

You need only take your own advice..when applying that...There would be no Malcom x or Farikan or black panther is there were not circumstances for their existence ....go back a little and question the motives of the people in power for the 100 years after Slavery and all the issues Blacks had to face from that time on ....Why did there have to be a Martin Luther King???

The point is if you are going to use the bible then you would have to question everybody in the history of Christianity and there are a lot of ???s that they will have to answer... if you feel safe not supporting those then good, cause I don't ...My questions begin right after Constantine.. because that when Revelation 6:9-11 stopped for a while and Revelation 6;14 -17 eventually began...and has not stopped...Now Ii don't know about you but I want no part of Rev. 6:14-17

You know what? Nevermind. Some people will just be who they are. Whatever! I'm glad I'm saved by grace and through faith-- not my vote.

Done.

Re: Why was my Christianity in Question?

Our fruit tells us what kind of tree we are. Our vote tells us what our priorities are. It is a well known fact that the Democratic party supports many antiChrist political issues, such as abortion, gay marriage, and restraint of religious speech. To vote that way would be an endorsement of those things. The Holy Ghost in me would not be able to support such things.

I don't even look at the social issues anymore. While they are not unimportant, I cannot get over the class warfare and envy that the liberal wing of the democratic party (Ok, THE democratic party) employes to gain and maintain power. The idea they have drummed up that "anyone making a nickle more an hour than me needs to pay their fare share!" is revolting. The sin of envy has been completely thrown out the window.

Are you saying the Republican party doesn't support anti christian values? How many scandals have we had with the party, money laundering etc.. You do know the love of money is the root of all evil.

Untraditional, take a clean hard look at politics and while we may agree with one particular side; neither represents Christ but their own interests.

well I glad to see we have an independent..here..
both sides are vying for your vote.....
you are most precious to either party..

may I suggest that you simply vote for who you love the best or who loves you the best....

My vote then suggests that I don't care what a woman does with her own life..

that I equally don't care what homosexuals do as long as they don't hurt Christianity ...

and you'll have to clarify religious speech for me..if you're talking about prayer in public schools..then they gotcha there... it's wrong....

Re: Why was my Christianity in Question?

Couldn't vote for the man do to his strong support for gay and abortion, but not sure if voting for anyone could be "the christian thing to do"
