Free Birth Control Must Be Offered
http://news.yahoo.com/federal-health...t=Araj_HGPkdU9
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. health insurance companies must offer women free birth control and other preventive health care services under Obama administration rules released on Monday, a historic decision supported by family planning groups and opposed by conservative groups.

I wish people would figure out that there is no such thing as "free." Someone is paying for it. In the case of insurance, it's the customer paying for it in higher premiums. Rather than mandate coverage, people should be able to choose the level of coverage they want.

Naw, it is just people who could pay for this stuff anyways now being told it is "free". And since insurance will now be paying the costs will skyrocket even more (one computer paying another) then they have already. Even though this doesn't officially start until 2013 any attempt to repeal will be met with calls how the evil Tea Partiers are killing women and hurting the poor.

Excellent point. By mandating that this "free" service be provided, the Obama admin is really showing it's own agenda here. Also, look for a LOT of Federal "guides" to health care that will direct the birth control consumer to Planned Parenthood clinics and not to, say, the condom rack at the gas station.
Personally, I don't oppose most forms of birth control, (I guess "most"). In fact, I'd be happy to go through life without these details being any of my business. But, Obama and his ilk have a very vested financial stake in just how the Federal "health care" dollars are spent.
Their plan is to direct as many dollars to their own campaign contributors, and thus, right back into their own pockets.

Re: Free Birth Control Must Be Offered
The Government does not need to play any role in birth control. The next thing they will be offering is paid funerals for those who die before 65.
