Do you not see the disrespect that President Obama is enduring?
Do you not see that his race is part of why he is being so disrespected?
Do you not hear the multiple allusions to race or sometimes even his race when matters are being discussed?
Even in your response, you clearly insinuated that Hoy Spirit filled Black Democrats are Democrats just so that they can depend on the government.
But you don't see how that is offensive and not true?
With all due respect, other than hearing people from his own party claim he's being targeted because of his race, where or what have you heard that directly implies disagreement with him because of race? His ideology, motives, etc are clearly not in line with a majority of America. His approval rate has hit all-time record lows. What else is there to prove he's not presiding over the American people as he probably should? No, he didn't enter into the presidency with a clean start. The only person who ever did was George Washington; he couldn't blame the former administration. Who knows? We may never be around to see an administration get their act together and actually allow America to see a plus in the budget. IDK, but the whole race thing (regardless of political views) has to stop since there is no valid proof it's the cause of Obama not being allowed to be a good President. Just my thoughts...
According to CBS News, unemployment among blacks is at 16.2%, 17.5% for black males, and a near 41% for black teens.
Quote:
While unemployment among the general population is about 9.1 percent, it’s at 16.2 percent African Americans, and a bit higher still for African American males.
Quote:
CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller reports that, historically, the unemployment rate for African Americans has always been higher than the national average. However, now it’s at Depression-era levels. The most recent figures show African American joblessness at 16.2 percent. For black males, it’s at 17.5 percent; And for black teens, it’s nearly 41 percent.
I miss President Bush. Her respected the willingness of minorities to work and have jobs.
What does you post have to do with the subject of this thread?
Maybe you were waiting for a thread that mentions race to spout your off-subject rant.
The entire premise of this thread is racism, JD.

I really don't think white people can understand how black people feel about racism, ever. And with a (black) President I think some black people thought they would have a chance for some wrongs, real or perceived to be righted. That is not possible for one man to do, even if he is black. So black people are offended and white people become defensive in these kind of discussions. But as Christians let's please try to remember we need to be careful what we say that might hurt our brothers and sisters.

True!
Obama being elected is like a double edge sword, some will not like him because he is half black but his race was major factor in him getting elected.

The GOP has a race problem.

I have criticized President Obama on MANY more subjects and in MANY more incidents.
In fact, at one time, even on AFF, I was a supporter of Palin-- but she ruined that a LONG time ago.
As for the actual election, I never supported McCain-- but I wasn't pro-Obama and did not vote for him before.
