All righty then, will do... I planning a trip out West on Rt 66 some day... probably when I sell my house. I am almost an empty-nester, and it is on my bucket list.

If you've been single for 9 years, you must be doing something wrong (respectfully speaking).

Well, just because I have been single for 9 years doesn't mean I haven't dated. Spent this afternoon chatting with a male friend who takes me to dinner and a movie every so often, usually when he can pin me down or get an answer out of me. I'm commitment phobic... yes, yes, I know I have issues.

I am not so sure I want to be attached again, i'm too busy with life... but enjoying a lazy today, sitting on my deck posting on AFF... but I am getting ready to go see the movie "The Help"

I lead a busy life, work 45 plus hours a week, teach two bible studies, attend my church, try to attend my brothers church at least 3 times a month, visit my elderly mom, and then ck in on another disabled friend who needs my help... got one kid at home in college, one still in HS I keep tabs on...a garden to tend, house to clean...so let me see, when exactly would I have time for a relationship with anyone...a serious one anyway?

I don't need the popes blessin' lol I am positive when it is the right time, God will bring the right person into my life...whomever it may be...until then, I am trying to be about my Father's business.

Well now I'm just addressing a relationship in general. I understand your commitment issues and living a busy life. You can preoccupy your life all you want, but at day's end you'll be laying by yourself in bed. Would you rather grow old by yourself or with someone?

My kids didn't get my nose, lucky for them. My siblings and parents don't have it either. I have an aunt and a cousin who I was just lucky enough to get their noses.
