And maybe some early mormons DID speak in tongues. If you study early Mormonism you will see that their doctrine changed a lot over time. Hindus? I never hear them speak in tongues or what circumstances it was...can you give me an example to check out?

As soon as we emotionalize the word of God we lose perspective. We might all end up being Unitarian Universalists or gay accepting congregations because we are going by emotional reasoning and not on what the bible says. If what the bible says means a loved on was lost and went to hell, should we accept it or look for another path?
