Not ashamed to preach we must restore a brother overtaken in fault
Not ashamed to preach there is NO Salvation outside of obedience to ACts 2:38 which is still the must have response to the Gospel of Christ on the Cross if we want to be saved.

Not ashamed to be a peculiar people
Not ashamed of Jesus Name

But its ok to hang out in Branson,Busch Gardens,Dollywood,Sea World etc.etc.where the first 8 and more of the above are displayed !

Bet you wear the ball cap that says "Call Me Pentecost." Well, wait a minute, it's a ball cap. You'd probably consider than a sin just for the fact of what it is and *gasp* preach against that.

I'm not ashamed of Jesus. But, He would be ashamed of me if I believed and lived a doctrine that He never institued, most of which is listed above. I said most, not all.

Jesus looked no different than many of those around Him back in His days on earth. Yet, the community knew him by his spirit and approach to situations, not by appearance...

The answer to the lost world and its extremism is not to become polar opposite and extreme the other way. There is NO way to reach anyone by doing that. Those who have been reached that way probably went through hell and high water, which is not necessary since so much of what is preached and taught among some is not Biblical. The devil can do anything but save our soul, and that includes shining light on things that appear to be Biblically correct. He's a mocker and a liar. So, let's be more considerate of what God said in His word instead of what a man puts in His mouth and speaks "Thus saith the Lord..."

the time I spent as an ultracon, was the time when I was like a child, and needed to grow up under my Pastor's convictions.

when my Pastor said that he was not going to preach/enforce standards, he was in effect saying to our church:

"it is time for you to grow up and have convictions in your heart, that come from your heart, not that are mandated for you"

So now, I'm in the time of life like Dante when he said:

Midway on our life's journey, I found myself
In dark woods, the right road lost. To tell
About those woods is hard -- so tangled and
rough
And savage that thinking of it now, I feel
The old fear stirring....

The time of life when I have to read, study, pray and find my way on my journey with God, find my own convictions and secure my own walk with God, working out my salvation with fear and trembling.
