The time of life when I have to read, study, pray and find my way on my journey with God, find my own convictions and secure my own walk with God, working out my salvation with fear and trembling.

Well...it is my opinion we all need a man of God in our life and am very thankful for a pastor in my life.

Dear Ones we are all just clay that will return to dust....gather friends not enemies....Do not think I am here to take away from anything Elder Epley believes. He is a good man so please do not read in between the lines. I do think as Christians we all need to focus on preaching Jesus to the world.

What may be standards to one may be foolishness to another...my mother would NOT drink coffee...lol...Brazilians would die without their coffee...but when she did not know Christ she was a chain smoker and drank coffee...when she quit one she quite the other...

That is very important point which reaches into quite a few 'standards' discussions!

Some of the strictest people I know are liars some of the most liberal people I know are truthful HOWEVER that does not mean strict people are liars and liberals are truthful...That is an experience I have with SOME...we have a tendency to judge people by our personal experiences which is not always the norm...If UC's hurt us we tend to put them all together...if liberals hurt us visa versa...However our personal feelings are not always God's feelings....We know a tree by the fruit on it....

So it boils down to the fact we must look to Jesus the Author and Finisher of Faith...when we get our eyes off Jesus and on some man we often fail....In the deapth of a heart rendering trial when "friends" decided to destroy us my pastor called and one day he said, Janice how are you doing...I said Brother Taylor, I was a missionary when the trial started and when it is over I still will be a missionary...
My faith is in the one that called...

Am just trying to show what may be considered a heaven and hell issue don't mean a hill of beans to the next one....people in leadership (not all by any means but some) have a tendency to try to make their personal convictions standards...
If I like something it is not a sin...if I do not like something then it is a sin....
