But is it a responsibility of business to provide health insurance?
Providing health insurance is a MAJOR expense for businesses. If we did move to a national health insurance program, businesses would be freed from that responsibility and could focus on doing business. I know some major businesses who moved to countries wherein there is a national insurance program to cut those costs. A major scram card company in Ohio moved to Toronto Canada, and that was a big factor.
