AB,
Rejoice that people will receive the baptism of the holy spirit, or shut up!

I wonder how many they are having to turn away because of crowd capacity? Probably thousands. I got a tweet this week that Jack Cunningham said there were more than 40,000 UPC Churches. How about that!

I was against charging for the speaker in your thread, and as a member of UPC I am against charging for this affair. They will get none of my money.

And you KNOW they are still going to take 30-45 minutes to receive offerings.

Yep, I know.
I would like to hear AM, but I can listen to him from POA website or make the 3.5 hour drive.

Re: General Conference 2011 Kentucky
I love to hear AM preach, have always been blessed by his ministry.
I don't know who is scheduled this year as I am not able to attend nor do I have the time to sit and watch, plus I think this charging for hearing the Word of God is not pleasing to God. He is not a begger and will meet the needs of His people.
Perhaps He is trying to tell them to evauate their purposes for GC, perhaps it is not longer in sinc with Him.
????
P.S. When I am charge to get in, I do NOT give an offering on top of that. They chose how much they wanted me to give us front. Their choice. IMO

Re: General Conference 2011 Kentucky
$25 for a terrible low-quality stream? That's ridiculous. The UPCI continues to cement themselves as the modern day Pharisees.
