I also like the fact that there's only 1 high school. No rivalry, no divisions, just plain ole good "community" atmosphere...

I'll find out who you are one way or the other...
Very good to hear. See you at SNL.

Grew up in UPC in Southern Illinois. Graduated from JCM. Pastored for over 30 years now. We started this church (Love and Truth Church) ten years ago in Jackson, TN. We love it here!!

Not tonight. I'll be there tomorrow night, though. From what I hear, it's pretty funny, especially since I've been helping my wife memorize her lines...

We call it "Saturday Night Life." Same concept and format, sans some of the edgy stuff. But, certainly funny nevertheless...

I'm still waiting to see if they'll eventually add in Coffee Talk from back in the early 90s. If so, I'm auditioning -- I can tweak my accent to sound just like Linda Richman's...

Where I live is not where I go to church. How about that? We commute a full hour to the "H.O.G."

I attend Racine Apostolic Church, Racine Mo. Preaching ain't much but I like the Pastor's wife.
Would not ever think of attending a church that was not Apostolic. All my eggs are in one basket.

Well...most know I live in Brazil... Attend our churches over there and come to USA to do deputation every few years...Over here we usually go where ever we are invited to present our missions burden. I grew up in Brother Bryan Taylor's church and went to school at Brother Holmes school in North Little Rock, Arkansas...
Am just a simple country girl....love God, love my husband and family...Missionary work is my calling...love it and have never lost the wonder He called me to be a missionary.

Sister Alvear, Great Post!
Can you tell us when you went to Brazil, what churches were there then and what is there now? Do you and your husband oversee a network of churches there? If so how many & what is the name of it? I am always getting invitations from the A/G to minister there but would rather minister in Apostolic Churches there. Are there any large Apostolic Churches in Rio or San Paulo? I hope to make Brazil my 62nd nation to minister in.

I think it is incredible that God called and blessed you to minister in Brazil all these years. We love the pictures that you post on here of the churches & people. Do you have a General Meeting of all the Churches and Ministers annually and if so where and how many attend?
