I hope to make Brazil my 62nd nation to minister in.
I think it is incredible that God called and blessed you to minister in Brazil all these years. We love the pictures that you post on here of the churches & people. Do you have a General Meeting of all the Churches and Ministers annually and if so where and how many attend?

Actually, we divided the work into sections, we have about a dozen or more
Conferences most run around 1000 people..some maybe more some less..that makes it easier for us and the people.
we have churches in Sao Paulo state and many other states...Just let us know and will have a meeting...
We love you and Marie very much..thanks for you love and concern for missions.

Oh then that's Eastern Kenya, near Mombasa. That's an area I've never been in and is primarily Muslim.

I'm still waiting to see if they'll eventually add in Coffee Talk from back in the early 90s. If so, I'm auditioning -- I can tweak my accent to sound just like Linda Richman's...

We did SNL at our church for three or four years. At first once a month, then went quarterly.
It was to be a draw to young people in our area. About all we ever got was kids from other OP churches.
We dropped it last year as it was a tremendous amount of work for very little results

Wow! Rather interesting to hear...
I think this year's was the best ever, and this is the 5th year we've done it. After all the time and energy spent in writing the skits, practicing, etc. the ALC players (as they are called) pulled off quite a show this year.
It was also a great into for the pastor's wife (since they just moved here) as she was the host. Talk about hilarious!

I was saved in a small, informal fellowship in Germany. Moved to NC, attended a UPC for many years. I now live in Alaska, and fellowship at one of the local UPCs...but I am more of an organic church person...

Re: Where do you live and go to church?
I don't believe in institutional church. I believe that we ARE the church, and that God's people were never supposed to be part of a heirarchal religious system. I look to what the church was in the new testament. In the first century. What did that body of believers look like? How did they live? What did they do? I believe that should be our example.
