Look what it did to what they call the American "psyche" when two buildings in NYC were destroyed on 9-11. It brought about a recession. What if it were the whole of NYC?
It would only take nuclear hits on 5-10 cities and our way of life would be over and millions dead. It would be nice if its 10 years away. Seems much closer to me.
