Lol - - frog wasn't here for the first two years......so, he doesn't know that at one point we had a couple preachers as owners that stomped around infracting/banning people.

Well... I said AFF... but I mean AFF in all it's past forms (FCF, NFCF etc)

And there were always a few who were allowed to dissent. In the beginning (FCF) it wasn't like this though. Over the years some real hard nosed individuals came around and loved nothing more than to get their daily ban/infractions. This is a relatively recent developement though when you take in the full course of the FCF forum history. It certainly wasn't that way in the beginning.

Dan was here during the days of my way or the highway... but Dan spent much time banned (on the highway).

Somewhere along the line the way the forum was handled devolved to the mentality of church of 17 people 4 miles back in the woods. When that didn't work then people just left.

The cons have always been here.
The libs have always been here.

But in the beginning no one had an overbearing rule over the other and I believe that this is pretty much the way it is now. The main difference is that those that left now have a place where they can pat one another on the back... bug in here... and go back and talk about how unapostolic we are. This does wonders for their ego.

I was just answering the question.

However there are some posters on here we have posted together ever since FCF and I personally like them. We have never agreed. So at times I post. I went a long time and just lurked from time to time. My name was invoked along the way and I was told about it so came back and cleared the matter up.
CC1 and Steinway are great guys. RGCraig-Scott Hutchinson have always been kind I did get to meet her at Nashville.
Honestly at the time I left I felt DA was given full reins to say what he wanted. I fussed with him and Adino(whom I met and liked) until I tired of it. I could say more but won't since it would seem offensive.
Never was a my way or the highway guy but really began to feel like an intruder at a family reunion. So that is the other side of the story.

I don't think you were ever one of the "my way of the highway" - - everyone knows where you stand and as you accepted others (that didn't believe like you) they always respected you!

I'm glad you are posting again - - some of these people need to be whipped into shape - ha!
