I find it interesting that the Fourth Commandment is the only commandment wherein God calls us to "remember"...

Exodus 20:8-11 (ESV)
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

The implication is that of all the commandments listed in the Ten Commandments... The Fourth Commandment is the one God knows is the most likely to be forgotten and cast to the wayside.

Bro. Epley... have you forgotten the Sabbath of the Lord and it's delights???

When sin is defined... we who have the Holy Ghost naturally seek to be sanctified through the Spirit.

The banter about pants, hair, beards, rings, blah, blah, blah, blah, is all man made static designed to keep us from hearing the will of the Lord. Those who have the Holy Ghost hunger and thirst after righteousness. We long to obey His commandments... and we do not have much patience for the traditions of man.

If you have the Holy Ghost and you want to be made holy... it's simple. Obey His commandments by allowing Christ to live through you. Seek this righteousness as you walk in oneness with your creator through the Spirit.

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
II
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image
III
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord
thy God in vain, for the Lord will not
hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy

Honor thy father and thy mother,
that thy days may be long upon the land
which the Lord thy God giveth thee

Thou shalt not murder

Thou shalt not commit adultery

Thou shalt not steal

Thou shalt not bear false witness
against thy neighbor

Thou shalt not covet

You can't get more holy than the above. For the above laws reflect God's own nature and character.

Now... as for Trinitarians... allow God to judge them. Only He knows their hearts.

What disturbs me is when I hear one condemn an entire group of people and they are not walking in the fulness of obedience themselves. Before you judge the Trinitarian seeker over the mote in their eye... remove the BEAM from your own eye! Then you will know how to lovingly help your misguided brother understand the truth more perfectly.

Well, I am lost and so happy.
The father is my judge and not anyone else.
I an a trinitarian and am lost.
I am glad that the author has been found.

So, now that I am lost jesus will foind me and the Holy Spirit will fill me, the father will judge me.
All 3 members of the Godhead. awesome.

Sorry, Steve, but I totally disagree with Jesus taking the place of the Sabbath. I want you to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, how in the World this can happen.

I will never understand how people justify breaking the Sabbath, while at the same time they claim they are obedient to God’s Will. Go ahead Steve, keep on making yourself look good, when in reality, your forged Religious opinion is completely off the mark.

One more point; research the 7th Day Adventists’. They are one of the healthiest Denominations on Earth, and they observe the Sabbath and focus on a good diet. These are the facts, and again, nothing replaces mental and physical rest, NOTHING!

Interesting is that He did not say "remember to have church on this day", Do you have church on the Sabbath Day?

What are it's delights? I don't see any mention of a Delight in this verse

If a Trinitarian has repented of their sins, been baptized in Jesus' name, and received the Holy Ghost, and is living a holy life, I am going to let God deal with their doctrinal error. When He is done explaining it, they will never be the same again.

Did He not promise to lead and guide into all truth?
