I do believe people get slain the Spirit,however if someone is in the Spirit everything will be done decently and in order. The Holy Ghost gets blamed for alot of things that it has nothing to do with.

The Holy Spirit is a perfect gentleman,now He does things that don't fit religious mindsets,but He doesn't do anything lewd or obscene or cause anyone to hurt themselves.

I used to think that SOME did, but now I am not even sure about that. It is such a common occurrence with ANY religious experience that to say "well, in SOME cases it is legit!" is like saying "well, there are so many thousand unsolved murders in LA every year, how do we know that SOME of them aren't caused by extraterrestrials?".

I am ashmed to call myself a moderate liberal as I do not want to be numbered with many of you.

It's fine to express opinions and differences. But to make fun of a persons expression of praise to God and to make names for people is not right.

Most of us did some of the things described. Not everyone is going to leave the trappings of classical pentecostalism. Those of us that are walking in liberty, are we better than those that we left behind? Or do we look down on the brethren because they are not as enlightened as we claim to be? Why do we accuse them of casting judgement when we do the same?

I believe in speaking in tongues and in the Power of GOD,but where in the Bible does it talk about anyone falling out in the Spirit?,or getting slain in the Spirit?.I see nothing wrong with some one dancing in the Spirit for David danced before the LORD with all his might.But i don't know about running around the church,or walking on the pews.Where is that at in The Word of GOD?
I think alot of the time people get emotions confused with worship, worship is from the heart.We worship GOD because HE is worthy and because we love HIM,not to be seen.

Because the Bible never says that there was a "she" before Adam. There was a Holy Ghost before Adam because it all exists in Christ.

My apologies if I offended you houston. Not intending to offend anybody.

However, I've been in some services where the Holy Ghost was so thick just before everybody yielded that it was almost like an explosion where people just took off running and jumping. But reading here where they almost busted through sheet rock walls, pulling the anchors out of the pews, smacking face first into each other....well, I've never seen people hurt themselves like that to a point of concussion in a service where the Holy Ghost fell.

We laugh at cartoons that depict such scenarios. I just never seen people get hurt.
