What I have noticed is that the black people (older or younger) who express resentment towards white people, do so with broad generalities,
while leaving room for many exceptions (Eminem, Clinton, Robin Thicke, but not Justin Beiber-- the white people within their specific inner circles are not resented.) In fact, on more than one occasion, I have heard white people (in these circles) speak derogatorively about other white people.
Most of the race-based resentment I've seen by blacks towards whites tends to be placed on whites who are perceived to be wealthy or powerful in some manner (rich whites on the other side of the tracks, white police officers, white government officials.)
From my time in Florida and my time in the deep south, and my time in the military with people from these and other areas, the whites who are resentful or even hateful usually don't leave room for exceptions. For them, a N is and N and will always be a N.
I've developed a strange "respect" for southern white racists. Though ignorant and hateful, they are usually honest and I will never mistake them for a friend or brother-in-Christ, even though most of these low-lifes will still be in a church come Sunday morning. I grew up in MD, and some of the most racially prejudiced-but-progressive white people are simply two-faced and unworthy of any trust whatsoever.
But I doubt anyone on AFF will trust a Democrat anyway, regardless of their color.
