IMO, you read Austin's post as casting aspersions on Whitney being a good SINGER for a "black lady" and responded accordingly--but that would be a completely different argument.
I'm not defending the ignorance of racist remarks; I'm just pointing out that it didn't seem particularly malicious, so why flip out? And you don't need to turn your claws on me just for asking that question.

Racist remarks are NEVER ok whether particuarily offensive or not. And whether or not it is offensive to you as a white woman doesn't mean it wouldn't be offensive to you if you were black. I am sure the person who posted it didn't mean anything offensive, but the black woman part was not necessary. As a member, it is shocking to see those in leadership positions defend racist remarks especially people who claim the Holy Ghost. Remember you turned your claws on me & accused me of gossip for posting information from the newspaper about 1 of your 'hero's' Seems you should practice what you preach & treat every one the same After all christian means Christ-like and the Bible says God is no respect of persons!!! God bless you and help you to be a blessing and not a hindrance to people on this forum!
