Sunset this evening.

Bass I that pond?

Yes and Catfish and Crappie. A lot of times when Don is working second shift and I just need a meal for me I'll go out and drop a line in the water. The first 'keeper' I get goes in the house to be cleaned scaled/skinned and baked or rolled in some spicy cornmeal and dropped in hot lard with a thin sliced potato and while it's cooking I shred some cabbage for a quick slaw and that is dinner, followed by some home made yogurt and fresh fruit for dessert (I believe dessert comes with every meal )

The ones who enjoy the pond most are two of my crazy dogs. They swim every day... Zoe, the Landseer Newfoundland and Zeb, the Anatolian Shepherd.

Here they are dry:

Zeb is all grown up now and spends his nights guarding goats and calves and his days doing this:

Shocking part is that our dignified Ms Titus spends her free time inseminating and castrating hogs... LOL!

BTW Ms Titus... if you would simply not castrate one...

Ok...I am jealous. I know I should not be jealous because jealousy is sinful and causes all sorts of problems.

However, your description of dinner makes my mouth water to the point that I am slobbering so much that I won't need my evening bath.

There! Does that make you feel better????
