Mom just fixed hers with extra cheddar and parmesian. It is good. Never such thing as too much cheese.
Lasagna with cheddar cheese??? Something about that just sounds wrong to me. Ricotta, parmesan and mozzarella - that's the only way to go

And you folks said we midwesterners can't cook! Geesh!

Ah no..., you're not quite far enough if you're only in Ohio... I think RW and I were talking about the COLD northern states, like on the border of Canada cold northern... LOL I know some very amazing cooks from Ohio, and I'm sure you're one of them

And, you need to try the lasagna with cream of mushroom soup instead of ricotta cheese sometime.. it is really yummy

I like cottage cheese and pineapple. Lasagna and cream of mushroom soup?

I thought that it was cheddar. I might have gotten confused. Cooked monzerella mixed with lasagna sauce takes on a goldish color. I do know that we did not use ricotta cheese because neither my father nor I will eat of it. That stuff just looks nasty as it oozes from between the layers of noodles.

I'm not big on talk radio. I'm fairly conservative, I always vote Republican straight down the ticket, and I tend to dislike moderates like John McCain and Mitt Romney. But, I feel like talk radio tries to influence your vote. I would rather think for myself. Furthermore, I don't think God is Republican or Democrat.

Sorry, I got on my soapbox.

No offense taken. I find that I am generally to the right of many in talk radio. The reason that I voted for Romney four years ago was that he was more conservative than John McCain.

I like to stay informed, and therefore I use several sources to form my opinions.
