I went to visit Pastor Beall's Church in Detroit back in the 70's. He not only taught baptism in Jesus name but taught Acts 2:38 was the plan of salvation. However he was a Trinitarian. Was not to impressed with the Church but he did have a few truths.

Was he a Church of Christ? Did he believe in tongues and gifts?

I'm not picking a fight, Troy, I am just curious as to what you mean.
How has the system handcuffed him?

There have been many great men and women. Pastor Richard Wurmbrand and his sweet wife Sabrina were examples of the purest christian love. I traveled with them years ago in Brazil as their translator and was so amazed at their stories and all they suffered.
They were not oneness but I hope I stand far from them on judgment day...Here is something I copied.
(Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned and tortured by Communist authorities in his native Romania for fourteen years. While still in prison, Pastor Wurmbrand envisioned a ministry that would focus on the plight of the Persecuted Church, raise a voice on their behalf, and provide encouragement and assistance to them. The story of Richard Wurmbrand and his burden for persecuted Christians around the world is recounted in his many books, most notably in the bestseller Tortured for Christ.)
His wife, Sabrina was also in prisoned and wrote a book about her experiences.
In the oneness movement there have been many great men that have impacted my life also. Later today if time permits I will mention some of them.
My husband is a great leader...and a true christian. I am sure all of us are influenced by many type leaders. Different people speak to different hearts.

William Eason. None of you know him. He isn't a national figure. He is barely a local figure. But he taught me how to study the word of God for myself and how to have a personal relationship with my God.

Exactly. There are many leaders/pastors/preachers in the apostolic movement who initially came to Christ under Billy Graham's preaching.
The man's reputation is sterling far as I know. He was a powerful preacher and had major influence on many men the world over - presidents, kings, prime ministers and effected a multitude of lives for Christ.
I believe God raised him up as a man of God and a mighty evangelist in and for his generation.
