So the truth was preached in that church once. Those working stood in shock. We nodded our heads and left for lunch like Pentecostals do.

Only you would do such a thing.
My sister had a catholic wedding ,and a catholic school joined the church I asked someone where the rest-room was and it was in the school I went in and I discovered I had a tract in my coat pocket I took it out and left it there. It was one like PPH puts out.

Thank the Lord Acts 2:38 is forver settled in my heart...even so I feel sorry for his family and friends and wish them well. I hope along the road of life all of them can come into contact with the Acts message...

Jerry Falwell's Secret to Church Growth:
Listening to NPR this morning I heard Falwell explain how his church went from a few dozen members in a storefront to 22,000 members. He stated that it was God first, but secondly he said he began using radio, then television. It didn't seem to affect Falwell's strong independent Baptist convictions about morality and conservative Biblical interpretation. Amazingly enough, television use did not send them down the proverbial "slippery slope" nor did it pave the way for ordination of homosexuals.
Here is a quote verbatum from the report (I typed it as it was being said):
"A pastor has to be media savvy in order to reach people" - Jerry Falwell

When a newspaper posed the question, "What's Wrong with the World?" G. K. Chesterton reputedly wrote a brief letter in response: "Dear Sirs: I am. Sincerely Yours, G. K. Chesterton." That is the attitude of someone who has grasped the message of Jesus.

I think the Independent Baptist movement he helped to found has a different opinion of him than what is noted here. They felt he deserted them and went liberal even to inviting a HOMO to speak there.

I can't believe it. Rico and I agree on something.
