"Party" was intended as a metaphor for the collective participation of the other forum...like, "We are having a party right now on AFF."

Show us proof that NLYP was dishonest...

Sigh. Regardless of how NLYP got the information, NLYP understands the functioning of CAF (where the information came from). He also knows the owner of that CLOSED BOARD and has access to the owner here on AFF.

If a friend emailed NLYP with this information, the concern here does not change. Nor should it change the consequences of his action.

It was out of line. Anyone who feels differently is not being objective.

If someone pmed me on this forum I would not post it publicly here if it was offensive I might send it to the adminstration but would never post it publicly or forward it. That would be unethical so it is with this situation the forum is private that was quoted and the names given.

AND Dan knows full well what CAF is. He knew what he was doing. It is one thing for someone to do something in ignorance. It is quite another to act in a way tha you know to be unethical.

I think the lesson needs to be learned on both forums that once something is posted in cyberspace...it has the great potential of "going public".

Truth be told, nothing is really closed or private in the world of the internet so we all must be careful.

I am even careful what and how I communicate in emails...fact is, the words posted on the internet and sent by email are not going away...
